About

Sequoia looks as good as it performs. It is one of our most durable fabrics and will perform well in even the most demanding home or contract environments while at the same time, being sophisticated in texture and luxurious in hand feel.

Eco Facts

Viscose is a regenerative, biodegradable man-made cellulosic fiber made from cellulose, most commonly wood pulp, but many plants can be used, such as bamboo. We believe that viscose is the future for responsible textiles. Synthetic fibers, including recycled polyesters, harm our planet and damage our waters for many reasons, including microfiber shedding. Learn more about viscose here. And more about why you want to cease buying plastic fabric.

The Fabric Name

Giant sequoias (also called "coast redwoods") are nature's superlatives: the world's largest single tree and largest living thing by volume, growing to an average height of 50-85M / 164-279ft; and they're among the oldest living things on Earth. Even the bark of the tree grows up to 3 feet thick! Sequoias have a truly distinctive appearance, and stands of these ancient trees are some of the most fascinating and mesmerizing environments on earth.

Why choose us?

We've done the work for you

Over the years, Patty and Leigh Anne dedicated tons of time researching ethical and sustainable production—how it’s done, and what the implications are to us (and to all living things)  and to our planet.  They even put it in their mission statement, a goal “to change the way textiles are being made” – kind of a reach for such an upstart little company, right?
